Common Questions
Do I need admin access to install the bot?
For Slack, any workspace member can install the app if your admin allows third-party apps. For Teams, your IT admin can deploy the bot via the Teams Admin Center, or individual users can install it. For Discord, anyone with "Manage Server" permission can invite the bot.
Can I use IdeaLift without connecting a tracker?
Yes. IdeaLift captures, deduplicates, and organizes ideas on its own. You can connect a tracker later when you're ready to push tickets. Many teams start by just capturing and reviewing.
How does team size work with pricing?

Is my data secure?
Yes. Every workspace is fully isolated. Data is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.3) and at rest (Azure SQL TDE). We're GDPR compliant with automated data subject access requests. SSO is available on Growth plans and above.
